We did have a technical problem with the battery in the first batch production. The battery problem has since been fixed. Google Chromebooks are small, extremely portable web-based netbooks, which run on the Chrome OS and incorporates the Chrome browser. As you have probably guessed, these handy devices feature "all things Google" and are manufactured with partnering companies such as Samsung and Acer for now. In addition to Android, the Chromebook is Google's move into the lucrative mobile computing marketplace.

Windows 7 can run slow for the simplest of reasons, and although it's the latest version of Windows, it's actually still prone to many of the common problems that slowed other Windows versions down. These problems are so simple, yet extremely damaging and responsible for many Seven PC's running slow. Luckily, you can make your PC faster quite easily.

7 Google Android Tablet

Firstly, to make your PC faster, you need to know the requirements for Windows 7. The Windows 7 system does not take up too many system resources like Vista did, but it still needs at least 1GB of RAM, 20GB of hard drive space and a 2Ghz processor. Most computers meet these requirements, but if yours does not, then you should consider upgrading to make Windows 7 run at its best.

7 Google Android Tablet

If you've got the hardware requirements to run Windows 7, then you'll need to then need to do some more in-depth work to make your new system run faster. There are 3 main ways to do this, as demonstrated below:

1. Defragment Your Hard Drive. When you save files on your hard drive, Windows puts them in certain places on it, so it can come back and recall them the next time it needs them. However, Windows often splits up many of these files and ends up defragmenting them, making it take longer to find and read them again. You should defrag your hard drive regularly by clicking on START > ALL PROGRAMS > ACCESSORIES > SYSTEM TOOLS > Disk Defragmenter.

2. Uninstall Unwanted Programs. Many people end up installing more and more programs on Windows and don't remove any of the ones they don't need / want any more. This is a problem because each program takes up more and more space & memory on your PC. Do yourself a favor and click on START > CONTROL PANEL > ADD / REMOVE PROGRAMS and then uninstall any program that you don't want / need.

3. Clean Out The Registry. This is actually one of the most effective ways to speed up Windows, because you can have automated tools to do it. The registry is a big database which stores all information and settings about your PC, allowing Windows to "remember" a lot of your personalized details. However, this database is often made corrupt, forcing Windows to take longer to process the files inside it, making your computer slow down.

A corrupt registry is actually one of the biggest ways that Windows 7 runs slowly, and is caused just by general use. You can't prevent this problem and it's only fixed by using a registry cleaner tool to scan through your entire registry database and fix all the problems that are inside it. By doing this, along with the other two things I mentioned, you'll be able to make Windows 7 run extremely fast indeed.
