As an owner of the original iPad, I was a little concerned when I placed my order for an iPad 2, worrying that it wouldn't be different enough from my iPad to make it worth buying. Luckily, I'm sure I made the right decision, because although I liked my original iPad, I really love my iPad 2! It has a number of key changes that really make it stand out against my first iPad.
One of my main concerns was battery life. Even though Apple advertised that the battery would last just as long, I wasn't sure how they'd be able to provide that when the iPad 2 is so much slimmer. Now, I feel like I can play longer and get more stuff done because while the battery life is about the same, with maybe a little bit of improvement, it works so much faster than my original iPad.
Ipad Keyboard
The new processor that they fitted the iPad 2 with must be amazing, because I can load and play games without any pauses in between actions. My first iPad would lag a little bit when loading or if my game had too much going on, but that problem is absolutely gone now. I can honestly say it's the smoothest computer I've ever worked with. Maybe I should invest in a MacBook too!

Also, having two cameras is a huge upgrade. I haven't really used FaceTime at all, but I can record videos and take pictures and they both come out in great quality. I especially like the rear camera, since I can see on my whole big screen what the photo will look like. It's much better than the little tiny screen on the back of my digital camera.
As far as accessories go, I've only gotten a couple of things for my iPad. The Smart Cover is amazing. I wish that I'd had it all along, because it's so handy, even when I'm just fooling around with games on the couch. The angle that it sets the iPad 2 to is perfect for me. The other accessory that I'd like to rave about is the Bluetooth keyboard. With my original iPad I considered buying the keyboard dock, but then I realized I didn't want to be chained down like that. With the Bluetooth keyboard I'm way ahead of the game.
Overall, I'm really glad I got the iPad 2. I sold my old iPad to make up some of the price, which hasn't even gone up from the last iPad even though it is so much better. The fact that it's lighter means that I can hold it up easier for reading, which is a big deal for me because I really found that reading in bed would tire out my arm pretty quickly. Add all that to the fact that there are more and more apps coming out every day and I would say that I chose a winner when I decided to buy the iPad 2.
