Use your smart phone to control any internet-enabled Blu-ray player launched from 2010 and all internet BRAVIA TVs from 2011. Called Media Remote, this handy app is available for Android and iPhone handsets. Just connect your smartphone to the same home network as your BRAVIA or Blu-ray player - once connected you can you use your phone's touchscreen to navigate Sony's Cross Media Bar and use the phone's on-screen keyboard to enter text in search boxes. You'll also be able to see extra information about the DVD or Blu-ray movie that's in your player using the Gracenote database such as full cast list and synopsis of the film.
